In Dec I had to get cortizon shots to elevate the pain, and then in Feb it knocked me for a loop. so now I am back on narcotics (differnt ones)and I mentioned that I am going to pt and ot, well that started in april, and I am working hard to get my lower back to cooperate so that I can get my upperback treated. But you know what? I am dealing with the hand I was delt, so please don't feel sorry for me, just keep me in your thoughts and prayers as the gal with with bad back who is fighting to get better.

I have to tell ya this, I had PT today. and I think I have converted a theropist to try to knit. is that cool or what? I was working on my mindless knitting and she kept walking by me, and then finally sat down and asked if it was ok if she watched while she waited for her cliant. Of corse I said yes. I think Next week I'll bring a loom in and do show and tell. Won't that be fun.

I desided to read Dana's Pamper Me mission for the Week, http://www.flylady.net/ , all the way at the bottom of the page. Does that sound familar???? Ummmm substatute your favorite craft for Cake decorating and do you see your self? I sure did, that is why I know have my mindless knitting.

Proud Mamma Moment. My DS desided to loom knit a "cozy" for his Neopet. He used Red heart supersaver (I don't let the kidlets use the "good yarn" yet, acrylic is just fine for now) in green, on the blue round Knifty Knitter. He wants to keep his neopet from getting scratched up. He knows that it is not just girls who knit. Real Men knit. *G* I love that kid.

For some reason, blogger

won't let me edit my templet. I keep trying and all I get is an error page. I don't know why. I may have to start from scratch.

Well, thank goodness for my calander/planner. This is a very busy week for us. I have pt and ot appointments, and dental appointments up the wazoo. One thing that has really helped me with FLYing is using my calander. I love the one I got from FLYlady.net it really helps keep track of things, and by using a personal planner and making sure I take the time to put it in sync with my big calander, I have been keeping things on an even keel.

This is going to be a good "mindless" knitting week for me. I have this cool little tavel Knitting bag that I got with one on my knitting mags last month, and I stuffed a ball of sugar and spice cotton yarn in it and an extra set of size 6 aluminum needles in it so I have some "Knitting on the go" in the car at all times. Ya gotta love mindless knitting.

Mindless knitting is the kind that you don't have to think about, weither it is a garderstich dish cloth or towel, or a nice soft garderstich blanket. You can watch TV, sit outside, wait in a Dr.s office and have something to do other than flip through old magazines. And you are burning calories. Did you know that you can burn 33 calories per hour? cool huh!

Ooooo some wonderful news on the crabbing front (I think I had mentioned that I am a Hermit crab rescuer in a past post. geeesshhh, dose this blog need to be updated.)

We have found a Forever home for 2 wonderful little crabbies. I am waiting to hear back from the potental adoptor to see if they would like the ones we have chosen (I like to place the Crabbies with people who are a good fit for that individual crab, these babies will be *hopefully* rehomed to a family that have kids to love them, and heck when the new "Crabbie Daddy" is ready to go to Collage, they will go with him.) After these two are rehomed, that will leave us with only 5 left.

At one time we had 10 crabs, 3 tanks, and an iso tank running. Soon we will have to see if we can put the remaning in one tank. That will be really strange, only having one tank and an Iso operating. But the name of the game is adopting crabs that need a new home, and if someone wants to be a forever home then the right thing to do is to let them go. I love fostering these little guys. They really are great pets, with wonderful personalities. Oh and by Rehoming, that leaves room for more crabbies to come into our life. *G* If you wanna peak into what Crabbing is all about please visit The Crabstreet Journal, there is a botton for them on the right side of this page.

How can you Not love a face like this.

So I am trying to do this re org thing with my blogger,

I have put it on my To do list so that I actully get around to doing it, and because I haven't worked my blog in a while, I keep getting errors when I try to play with my templates.

Blogger doesn't like me right now. Just a bit overwhelmed as I try to revamp my routines, and what not as I continue to heal from my surgery.

It has been 2 months now since I had my procedure, and I am still having issues. I can only go about 30 min, before I need a break. Not to bad for not having PT yet.

I have requested to be taken off the Narcotics, and I am coping with the Pain (there I said it, I am still having pain) with what has become my normal regamin. (boy did I spell that wrong.) Right now, if my Hubby took one dose of my meds, he would be out cold for probably 12 hours. And ya know what, sometimes I think he needs it. (No I haven't slipped my hubby a Micky, even though it has crossed my mind.

)

I am still Not Smoking, and now I am cutting down on the Nicotine carterages (Nicotrol inhailer).

Some of my friends think that I am trying to do too much by the smoking cessation, and getting off the Narcotics. Sorry Folks, I couldn't stand myself on this stuff. I'll suffer with "discomfort" if it means that I have my brain. The Narcotics gave me a False sence of Security. I felt like I could do sooooo much, and then I crashed. Oh My Gorsh did I crash. I would continue to over do it. I was hurting myself by felling ok. I am still walking with my cane, so I figured if I am going to have to rely on it, I might as well make it pretty, so.... I accented it with stick on Austrailian Crystals. It's girly.

But the nice thing about having to take breaks? *G* I get to play with yarn.

Since I posted last, (Geesh I am so bad. )
I have made a hoodie type thing for a D8yrold girl in our life out of Jiffy, in Savanna a base white with lavander, pink and blue speckles, a lovely Mohair like yarn but it is acrylic so that it can be washed, so pretty, using my green KKI.
I tortured myself by working with Camo yarn again. I am a glutton for punishment. I made my Dad a Scarf for hunting on the green KKII, and I made him a reverseable hat with the yellow KKI in Camo and Blaze orange (Warning! Blaze orange yarn should only be used at night, durring the day, it can give you a headach, ask me how I know.) And I had it done in pleanty of time for his birthday. Yay Me.

Now I am continuing to torture myself by doing a scarf that is doublesided with the Camo yarn on one side, and blaze on the other using the Green KKII. It is alot of hard work, but hay, I am proving to my self that it can be done by me.
I have a hat started on the Red KKI using Jiffy, in Savanna, in the car for when I am waiting for my kidlets to get out of school.

I think I'll try to get my DH to take a pix of the two sided scarf.

Still working on decluttering my

Email and my Favorites on my computer.

Geesssshhhhh, this is taking a long time doing things 15 min at a time. I need to devote more time to actully managing my stuff better. This is rediculous. I think I am going to take time at night when I am "messin" around on the computer to actully finish decluttering my email, and "Favorites".

I have been asked why I am in so many loom groups(I haven't added all of the crochet groups, and knitting groups yet), and the best answer I can give them is they all have wonderful members, and the knowlage I have gained from each group has been extrodinary. I don't think that there is one group on my list that I haven't learned from. I am on digest for all of them and I skim through the digests to see if something interests me. I mainly lurk, I feel that if someone has answered something the same way I would have, why fill up someones email box with a duplicate reply.

I had a friend ask me about my profile and key words, I think I'll answer that on a different post.

I finally got my red kk back from my DS8.... I had to finish his project for him. It is a Green and black scarf that is kid sized. We arn't sure if he is going to keep it for his own use, or if we are going to donate it to the "giving tree" that his school does every year. We are thinking about taking some of my odds and ends yarn, you know the one skein here, and the half a skein there and make up hats and scarfs for those who are going to be recipants of the giving tree.

Pain wise, I am not doing well, I am still trying to figure out what exactly I am doing that is causing me so much grief. I have a feeling it is the driving. I donno yet. I have a "break through" pain med that I can use up to 6 times a day, and I have been using it the last couple of days to manage the "discomfort" (Dr.s don't like the word pain, they use a "Pain" scale of 1-10, and I have been an 8-9 ish at times, down to a 5 which is an annoiance. I can't remember when I haven't felt some sort of discomfort, that is so sad, and another post.)

It is schedualled/Manditory nap time now. the timer went off a few min, ago, and the kidlets are running around upstairs acting like wild animals trying to escape from their cages, so it is off to laalaa land for a bit.

I have to Vent. This is a rant. Ignore this post if you want.

I had a melt down yesterday. And it was BAD.

I have to get it through my thick head that I am 3 weeks out of surgery. and Just because I feel good, (gotta love meds) doesn't mean that I can just jump right back into the game and do the things that I did before my back went out at the begining of the summer. Dr.s give us instructions for a reason. We are told NOT to do certine things for a reason. Otherwise we will reinjure ourselfs.

No I didn't do anything stupid, like vacuum, any thing like that. I am just haveing to deal with the mental thing.

I have had to redo my routines, and zones, and convince my DD10 (who say's that FLYlady is boring, and will say it out loud durring FLYfests, when I have FLYfriends over or I am on the Phone with them.) DS8 (Who is being just the typical BOY) and DD6 (who is reading over my sholder and say's "Mommmmmmm, I am gonna be 7 next week") That helping mom is a good thing, and by picking up after themselves, and just doing simple things, that things will be better.

My house is a pit.

I just want to scream into my pillows, because I know that screaming out loud is not going to do me any good. It will just make me sound like I have lanigitus (sp)

I have to remember that I am not the only person in this house who can do things, there are two adult males who can do simple things like Vacuum, or clean up a spill. And those Adult males need to do something really simple, and that is pick up after themselves.

I am not amune (sp) from this consept, but..... I have restrictions. I can't stretch and bend right now like I want to. I can't lift anything over 5 lbs, and I am supposed to makesure that I have my cane when I walk around just in case. and these darn restrictions are what is causing me the most grief right now. I want to do things. I just can't. I must allow my back to heal. It still is a bit weapy.

If I over do it, I pay, I pay for day's.

I wish I could take my feather duster, and wave it around like a majic wand, and poof, everything that I want done gets gone. But it doesn't work that way. We as a family must take the time to cooperate with each other and try to get things done.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://flyinandyarnin.blogspot.com/2006/09/i-have-to-vent-this-is-rant-ignore.html' title='I have to Vent. If you look at my blog, you will see that I have ALOT of interests, and a lot of blogs that I like to visit.

Now your probably saying, how is she getting anything done, well.....

I use a timer next to my desk. And all of the Blogs and links at the right side of my page here, are from my "Favorites" and that I have stored in my emails that I found to be informative, entertaining, or just down right fabulous, and I don't want to forget them. I am a crafty person, and that is why there are so many craft links here.

I am only 2 1/2 weeks post op, and I have to limit my activities, so I am Catching up on Posts (CUOP) in my email account, saving blog links that I like, Craft related companies, and others that I visit regularly, so that if I have a situation where I am on a borrowed computer, or my present computer crashes, I have a place to come and it is all there and not lost in cyberspace.

The FLYlady Followers Blogring page, will be used to manage FLYlady related stuff, FLYers Blogs and so on. I would love to see what other FLYers blog about. Who knows, We may even have one of the FLYcrew Join, Now wouldn't that be fun?

Hummm, I wonder if any of the FLYcrew Knit?

I just may be able to pull off a trip to St. Louis later this month (For a "FLYfest"), and of course I'll have some sort of knitting or Looming with me, and I just found out this week that one of my FLYing friends from IN, just got a set of KK round looms and would like to learn to use them, so perhaps I may be able to give her a privite lesson on them. That is if I can do some creative book keeping, and what not. I have directed her to the KKers yahoo group, and to the Loom Class group, I havent checked my daily digests yet to see if she has joined. I would love to see her again. But just incase, I think these two groups will get her started.

One week AKA the count down begins.

The kidlets start school (DS8 picked the little goofie guy) We are half way done with the school shopping. Is there a connection with Area 51?)

So here is the plan, or PODA Parade of Daily Adventures for us today.

We will Do a few missions and RR in the LR, that we have been procrastinating on this week.
we have to take DH his lunch
we have to go to Wally World to try to finish up school supply shopping and what not
we have to start to tackle the New MT Washmore (aka School cloths and boogie the old, stained ripped not worthy of being donated stuff to the garbage can, and boxing the to be donated stuff up for pick up.)
I have to fold cloths and have the kids put them away.
Since it is Anti-procrastination day, We will try to get some time in for the kidlets to start their CJ's.
Dinner is Stuffed Peppers ala YCCS (it is good to have him here and have him have a day off. He is truly an awsom cook, and ya just gotta love him)
Call My DF's DD now 9 and wish her a happy day after her Bday, since she was probably really busy yesterday with her family, and with luck she got a wonderful suprise with a blue bow yesterday.
Continue adding the book marks for sites and blogs that are in emails, and my Favorites file so I can finish cleaning out my email box's.

I must remind myself to not over do it, I still have a stitch in my back, and I am only 2 weeks out of surgery. I am able to walk more and more every day, but I still am not allowed to lift any over a gal of milk, reach above my head (on my toes) and well, they don't want me driving yet with all the meds, and until the DR checks my back out, but we all know once that stitch is out, and I am on lowered meds, I'll probaby drive short distances. Like to the our little local grocery store and what not.

I have to tell ya this is driving me crazy...... I hate having to depend on others to do the things that I would have normaly done. I feel so lazy, but I know I have to let my body heal otherwize I could reinjure my back and it won't be pretty.

Something cute that happened yesterday, My DD6 found the cutest pen for me, it has feathers on the top of it, and they are purple, it have purple ink, and she said, I could write and feather dust at the same time. Is that cute or what?

Still Working on Booging (AKA RR's)

stuff. Is it ever going to end? All I want is for my home to be back into shape, kids happy, hubby happy, Me happy. Is that too much to ask for?

No its not. We are gonna do RR's today (Room Rescues or Round Robins, you choose) and we will atleast make a dent. We will only work for a couple of hours using our timers, I adore my FLYlady timer http://www.flylady.net/pages/FlyShop_Timer.asp, Why? Because it is loud enough for me to hear, and I can use the clip on the back to put it on my waist band, or use it as a stand on a flat surfice. Yah, We really have some cleared of flat surfaces in my house.

I know I am still not allowed to do a lot of stuff, Heck I still have stitches in the middle of my back, but My children are willing to help today (bribing them with a shopping trip.) Things don't need to be Perf#$%, (the dreaded P word) They just need to be presentable. There is a difference. My home is live in, not a museam. I have kids, and critters, Kids make messes, and so do critters. The Birds spit seed hulls, and spit on the windows, The hermies Make a mess in the crabitate. And the Dogs don't just shead, they molt.

But I love them any way. They are part of the family too.

HEHEHE, tonight, I have a plan, My plan is to get back to my yarn. I think I can sit long enough to get something started. Maybe some samples for my KK class at Michaels. With luck I'll get clearance to drive tomorrow, and I can go back to work. Yay Me. I am sooo looking forward to it, I want Me time away from this house. I'll get it, I know I will.

*G* I have been parusing (sp) the Berroco site for patterens to knit, I found a sweater there that is called my oldest DD's name, How cool is that, I am gonna make it for her. I can't afford Berroco's yarn, but I printed out the pattern, the schimatices, and the yarn spasifics, and I'll find something that is equivilant to it. What an awsome Bday present that would be, doncha think? If you are a knitter, you have to go check Berroco out www.berroco.com The yarn is yummy looking and the pattern library is awsom. Who knows you might find a pattern there that will strike your fancy.

AWWWWwwww, My timer just went off. Hay I got alot of typing done in 15 min. It's time for me to go and do something. And as my DH says do something even if it is wrong. *G*

Ya just never know what is gonna happen

when you have a whole family of FLYbabies. We got down and dirty with the timer today. We did some serious Round robins or Room Rescues around here today.

Now keep in mind I can't do a whole lot so.......... So I was crackin' the whip. Naaahhhhh just kidding .

We got alot accomplished today, and we even got the Students control journal http://www.flylady.net/images/student_CJ.pdf printed up today so that the kids and I can tailor it for their own needs.

Your not going to beleive this, any self respecting yarn stasher would or should be able to go into their yarn stash and find an odd ball skein of yarn or perhaps a parial ball of a needed color, right? I am hanging my head in shame, My DS needs black ww yarn, and do you think I have some? Nooooooo, I am so ashamed of my self.

But you know what that means....... I MUST Go yarn shopping. I can't have my kids disappointed with me if they can't find that one color of yarn they need for that project they may do some where down the line, now can I? Hummmmmmm, So where am I gonna "Stash" more yarn. *G* Just kidding, I have a system going right now, If I bring yarn into the house (ok, onto the property, or in the car even) then I must make something out of an equivalent amount of yarn. So far, it is working ok.

Ya know, I am having fun learning how to do things with my blog, I have added some links, other blogs, and bottons, and they all are working, No broken links. cool beans.

LOOOOKKKK OOOUUUTTTTTT,

She is doing a Major declutter on her computer..... *G*

Ok, I need to declutter my email and my "My Favorites" files on my computer, so it is time that I really use my blog for what I intended it for. I had been hospitalized twice and went in for back surgery on the 15th of Aug. I am so releived now. Having DDD is not fun, but at least having my routines in place, and having our family routines written down for others to follow is a good thing.

You know it is really bad when you can't knit, crochet, or loom. I was miserable. The only think that I have made in the last 6 weeks has been a majic scarf while I was hospitalized just after the 4th of July. Ok, so I may have gotten some converts to loom knitting. *G* but it gave me something to do between the nurses coming in and taking my vitals, and shooting me up with Morphine.

I had to cancel all of my classes for the end of June, and the begining of July. and of course, I had 4 students sign up for my July class. I must send them a card, they are all from the same family, a Mom and her daughter that attended one of my first classes, and two of her other daughters. How cool was that. But I did find out from my ECM (Event Coordinating Manager) that we got the Long Looms in at our Michaels. So, now that I can sit upright, and not have my exteremities scream at me, I need to make some samples using the long looms.

Now you would think that after 6-7 weeks since my last post that things probably have gone to Heck in a hand basket, well, not really. I was able to direct my kidlets in somewhat following our set routines so that the house didn't completely fall apart. I really think that FLYlady would be proud.

Have you gotten a calander yet for the upcomming school year? I highly recommend FLYlady's 17 month calander, it goes from Aug. to the following December. I love it for recording all the school stuff that starts to come in in a flurry at the begining of the school year. If you want to see it just look here http://www.flylady.net/pages/FlyShop_calendar.asp Trust me it is awsome, I have been using it since she designed it, and previous to this one I used the More time Moms calander that she recommended http://www.moretimemoms.com/index2.html go look at their web site, you may find something that will peak your interest if the FLYcalander isn't your thing.

Something else that has been helpful during this icky time, Drinking enough water. I usually don't do it, so this summer I took FLYlady's challange to drink my water by using store baught bottles of water and refilling them when I finished them, I even refilled and froze some of the water to make sure that it would stay icey cold. Well, last month, I desided I would buy myself a couple of birthday gifts, one from the FLYshop and one from DA http://www.decoraccentsinc.com/ .

So I bet your wondering what I got, well, from the Flyshop I got the Purple water bottle, and it is wonderful go check it out in the FLYshop, they even have a dark blue one for those who don't like purple, and it has nothing written on it, so even our hubbies/kids/or significant others might use it.

And what did I get from DA.... I got the cutest little knitting loom, it is a mini sock loom http://decoraccentsinc.com/mini_sock_loom.html it is sooooooo adorible. I am in love....... *G* I am seriously eyeing the new oval sock knitters, and the Wonderloom, in extrafinegage so I can knit socks. *G* My DH said when the money is right, I can get them. *G* time for me to do some creative book keeping.

Well, today is going to be an interesting day, we have our family picnic/reunion, so we are all getting ready, I think I am gonna take some yarn and a loom or two just incase I get board.

oh, hay now it is my turn in the bathroom. (gotta love having a tweener daughter.) I had better take advantage of it now while I still can, read that as, before she gets back inthere to "do her hair."

Where is all the time going?

It is already June 28 th. Wow. The year is almost half over. I better get to some serious looming, knitting, and playing with my yarn to get some stuff done for upcomming birthday's and Christmas.

It is only a Few day's until July and I currently have a babygan going on the blue long loom in camo yarn, this stuff is driving me batty. I am trying to keep the color way going in the same pattern, but I discovered, that even though the yarn is all the say dye lot, the skains arn't all wrapped the same. luckily it is Red heart sport, and you can pull from either the inside of the skein or the outside, that is what has saved my sanity somewhat.

I have a class at my local Michaels on Sunday, I wonder if I'll have any students for this one. My last class was cancelled to to no students, and I desided that I wouldn't demo so that I could give my back a break. I have 4 classes schedualed in July, I am going to focus on "Christmas in July" type projects, maybe a snowman, christmas orniments, hats, scarves what ever seems to float my boat.

I went to the spine dr. today. He seemed disappointed that the ESI (epidual steriod injection) that I had in may didn't do any good. Unfortunatley I am worse now than when I first went to see him. If you review earlyer posts, I am a cronic pain SHE/Flyer. and one of the reasons that I havent posted as much as I should have is because I have a real hard time sitting in my computer chair to type. I am thinking about stealing my hubbies chair. (wink) Any way, I have been put on a new med today to see if it will help me sleep, and up my pain tolarance. fun huh.

I can say this though, Thank goodness for FLYlady. I have been working at my own speed, doing 15 min on, 30-45 off. and you know what? I am actually maintaining quite a bit of my house. My kidlets are not cooperating the greatest, but they are slowly catching on to the fact that mommy needs them to help her, and we are doing things in moms modified Flylady way.

Some day's are really discoraging, but I know that if Marla could do it with all the things that had happened to her, I can do it. She is my inspiration, and with my own spin on her methods, I can do it.

*G* another day, another new ball of yarn.

I LOVE Dollar Tree. I found Bernat Frenzy yarn inLoonie Lilac today. Guess who's yarn stash has grown by another dozen skains of yarn today........

I know some might think that since I follow FLYlady that I am braking the No Clutter rule with my Yarn, but It is something that I love and makes me happy. It isn't just STUFF(Stuff That Undermines Family Fun) See, I beleive that the key to her system is that you only keep things that make you happy. I don't feel any guilt having my yarn stash. The things that she advocate that you cull or declutter are things that stress you, make you unhappy, or make you feel guilty.

So.... my organizational skills arn't the greatest, I could make all the excuses in the book about not having enough room (which is true in my case) and what not, but I don't think my YAS (Yarn Aquisition Syndom) is a problem with my family. Heck, my kids love being able to ask mommy for a certin color of yarn, and I have it. They are just as addicted to looming as I am. Heck, I haven't picked up my Knitting Needles or my crochet hook (other than to bind off a project on my looms) in months.

I am really thinking about making my own cotter pin looms (Ok I wouldn't be making them, my DH and my House mate would, read on for explanation). I would love to buy looms from DA or Cinderwood's or Marksmanfarms, any of the wonderful loom builders out there.) but the finances just arn't there. I know, I know, If I where to not buy yarn, I could probably buy a loom, but my DH said that he would like to make me one instead. Isn't that sweet of him. He is a machanic by trade, and he gets cotter pins by the gross for work. Heck that means it really won't cost me anything for those since they have been purchaced and paid for along time ago. (the wonders of what he can buy them for, and then sell them for when he uses them for repairs. Gotta love it.) and we have plenty of wood in the garage that he can use. We will reclaim oak from an entertainment center he started to build years ago. We have pallet wood that just happens to be mahagony and teak (gotta love living in Motown, the auto industry uses hard wood for shipping pallets to handle the load, when a pallet breaks, it is fair game. We have tons of it to use as kindling for our wood burner.) We are a major recycling Family. We reduce, reuse, and recycle as much as possible.

I think that we may be on to something with this. What I want is a dishcloth rake. It shouldn't be too hard to make.

I think I officially have a looming following in my area. I have been answering alot of questions about it from some of the Mothers at my kids school. I am teaching Knifty Knitters at Michaels, and lovin' it. When I told some of the gals in one of my social groups what I was doing, they thought it was neat, and are really interested in it. So who knows, maybe I could make some dishcloth looms up and make a kit to start some of these gals out. Some of them have already picked up the KKers and are going to try to join me in my classes at Michaels.

Who would have know that this yarn a holic would finally find a craft that didn't hurt her hands, give her a chance to spread the word about an old art form, give her a chance to make money doing something she loves. Cool Huh.

hummmm, I made this darn blog, and I keep forgetting to use it.

Well, shame on me.

Ok, well now that I have reviewed what I have written.

Let me tell ya a bit more about my life with FLYlady.

I have been a member of the FLYlady family since the very begining. My current email member ship has been with her since 2001. Wow. 5 years. I remember when I first signed up. I was in the 600's, now there is over a quarter of a million members. Is that cool or what.

I am currently one of the FLYlady state Moderators for her local support groups. I moderate the state of Michigan with one of the coolest flyers I have ever met. And she has been with Our beloved Flylady just as long as I have. Now how cool is that, *G* and we have become great friends. And the real kicker..... She (Ok, I wasn't gonna put her name in here with out her permission, but there are a lot of people with her name. so her goes..... the Wonderful Miss Wendy....) ok, any way... Wendy only lives a couple of miles away from me..... Together we are a great team. We moderate the State group, the State chat group, and assist in many of the local groups in the state.

Why local support groups... To make friends with those who are in the same position as you. You are not alone in your journy out of CHAOS. Trust me. I for one won't lie to you.

If it wernt for FLYlady, and the local support groups, I would never have found the wonderful Family of FLYers we have. and I probably wouldn't succeeded in my quest out of CHAOS.

Mind you, I am not perfect, I have my day's were I yell at the top of my lungs "Stop the World, I wanna get off" But I have learned to take baby steps to get me through.

If you are reading this, and wondering about a local support group for FLYlady and your not sure where to look, let me know, and I'll help ya find a group. If you belong to a group, and it is really quite, why not go and say hello, Just jump in. people are shy, they really don't want their dirty little secrete out. Well, ya know what. We all have skeletons in our closet, *G* and we have the power to fling em out.

Now. Yarnin'......

I still can't figure out where the cord is to the camera, nooooo, i didn't stash and dash it. I think my hubby has it, and I don't go through his things. (one of FLYlady's rules that I follow strickly, but that doesn't mean that I can't guilt him once in a while.)

But, I have done quite a bit on my KKers. I have made 4 magic scarves, 2 baby afgans, lots of scarves, lots of hats, made a ball (with insperation from another kker, I think she has a blog, but I can't find it right now to give her credit.) lots of scrunchies. played with wool, cotton, and chunky yarns. and *G* wound up getting a part time Job teaching basic Knifty Knitter skills at my local Michaels. How cool is that, I am getting paid to play with yarn. My Hubby said they should just pay me with gift cards since I'll probably spend all my pay there anyway. *G*

I have finally gotten my Hairpin lace looms accummulated. OOOOOh boy.... I love Ebay. ok, I am getting really off topic. No I'm not.

I have got to get that cord for the camer.

I am so dying to do the Flash my stash thing, and I'd love to post pix of my hairpin lace looms, my crazy daisy, and some of my wonderful antique knitting and crocheting tools. Pix of the stuff that I have made, and still have.

I really need to learn how to navigate this blog better so that I can link all of the wonderful blogs that I like to visit so ya all know how much you are appreciated.

hummmmmm.... I need to go take meds.

Cronic pain and the Yarn lovin' SHE

Ok, first of all what is a SHE.

A SHE is a Sidetracked Home Executive. For more information please visit www.ShesInTouch.com for more information.

Cronic pain? Yup, I have cronic pain at a young age. I'll go in to that more at a later date, I am not telling you this so that I can throw a pitty party.

Anyway, I threw my back out again. GGGGGRRRR, I hate Premature Degenerative Disk Desease. I have already had L5-S1 fused, L3-L4 and L4-L5 are at risk of being next in the lower, and welllllll, I have been fighting this episode since tuesday night, if it doesn't improve by the end of the week end, I'll be calling the DR. tomorrow.

When this happens, my mobility is reduced to almost nill, I can't even do the simplest tasks such as sit here on the computer to check email with out having my eyes cross from the "discomfort" (Don't cha know.... The Dr.s don't want you to use the word "Pain", it is over used.)
I am so lucky my kidlets and my DH (Dear Husband) are as wonderful as they are, they know when Mom doesn't feel good they need to help.

So what can I do...... *G* either lay down, camp out in the lazy boy, go for a walk (if your scratching your head right now, thats ok, I can walk, I can stand, I can't bend or sit for long, who know's why, I am not questioning it yet. key word Yet.) And I can play with yarn.

So, I have been making Scrunchies this week...
I finished one of my UFO's (UnFinishedObjects) which was a Magic (style) Scarf made out of yarn I got from Big Lots for a $1 a skain, it is called Farie Floss, and it is eyelash style yarn. With luck, I'll be able to post a picture of it later.
I think I will work on the loopie scarf I am making for my Big Sis, that will be one last UFO.

Now to find the cord for the camera, chase after my Kidlets and make them Model what I have made so far. *G* wish me luck.

What is FLYin

So ya wanna know what FLYin' is?

Why it is FLYing with FLYlady.net.
Finally
Loving
Yourself
to get out of CHAOS
Can't
Have
Anyone
Over
Syndrom.

With WWW.Flylady.net I have found my way to getting my home more organized, more peaceful, and making plenty of time for my family, my friends, and my yarn.......
